Blueprint RF delivers a complete picture of the hotel’s IP addressable energy activities via secure and permissions-driven, web-based dashboard. Three critical components complete this comprehensive view, Cisco Mediator, Dominion, and Blueprint RF’s cloud-hosted data warehouse, Master Data Management Source (MDMS).
Cisco Mediator is a router-like device designed to connect major building appliance information and translate all to TCP/IP - see Energy Management for more details.
The Dominion is a complete hospitality platform housed in a single appliance. In addition to providing valuable network performance enhancing features, it is designed to opportunistically capture all key LAN activities metrics. Metrics include all available energy consumption information and appliance operations data - gathered via Cisco Mediator (and in some cases, installed IP appliance sub-meters). Examples of appliance data capture and performance reporting includes performance details about: pumps, boilers, chillers, IP PTACs, smart thermostats, laundry, etc.
Dominion is designed to port critical appliance performance data, at regular intervals, to its paired and cloud-hosted Master Data Management Source (MDMS). The MDMS houses delivered Dominion data for long term storage and contextual retrieval. In addition, the MDMS receives relevant data from other resources too, beyond the hotel property. Examples include: local power company rate structure information and certified LEED credit details and schedules.
The MDMS is designed using enterprise-grade, fully relational databases for deep data mining to create rich business intelligence, on-demand. Structured results are retrievable for customers and auto-populate customer facing dashboards – accessible via permissions-based web applications. Customer dashboards are graphical in design for easy use and understanding.
